EP-4 locomotives have NEM profile wheelsets.
Pantographs on both the EP-4 and EMU suburban trains can be raised and lowered
and could be used with catenary, but are not wired or designed to collect
current from overhead wires.
Steam locomotives (4-6-0 or 2-8-0 w/ 8-wheel tender drive).
All steam locomotives have NEM profile (deep flange)
wheels. NEM coupler is also fitted. Very easy to change to Kadee / E-Z Mate /
X2F.
