Hobbies Plus has these tiny 1:900th
scale working layouts available to order.
And no. Contrary to some opinions, this
page is not part of the humour content hidden on this site. These layouts are
very real and they DO work.
7" x 4" in size. Santa Fe F7, 5 freight cars and caboose, 5 cars, 2 trucks,
railway station and houses, lake, mountain and stream. Comes with clear acrylic
cover. Prices on application. Since obtaining our previous TY layouts, the strengthening
Australian dollar will mean that prices have dropped from those previously
advertised here.
4" x 4" layout with Rio Grande 4-6-2 loco, 4 end platform cars, tunnel, houses,
stream. Clear acrylic dust cover included.
Even Z gauge seems huge beside TY scale.
This layout currently for sale. Was $315, but as mentioned above, prices have
dropped due to the better exchange rate since this one was ordered. So this is
now $250. Comes with Australian power supply.
And here's a HO loco almost as long as 2 TY layouts.
These layouts are custom assembled by Tiny
Trains of South Dakota, USA. They run on around 9 volts and are powered by a
belt running in a hollow square section channel.
